(Coporate Approved Inspectors) we are now able to provide an alternative
to using the Local authority for Building Control in the South West. We are
now to manage and operate the new South West Regional Division of BBS
Building Control at our office in Truro . We will be providing client
focussed plan checking and site inspections for BBS Building Controlon all
types of developments across Cornwall and Devon .The benefits of using
these services as an effective alternative to the Local Authority Building
Control include: Preliminary advice on scheme design including fire strategy
and Building Regulations, prompt response on plan and structural checking,

plans and specifications a detailed Access statement to enable
your designs to satisfy Planning and Building Regulations
requirements.
We also undertake Access Audits on existing buildings. Here we
can point out areas of specific non-compliance and give advice on
the measures needed to protect the building owner from possible
prosecution under the DDA.
