Phil comes to the company with a range of experience within several sectors of the contruction industry spanning 25 years. Between leaving school in the early 1980's until 1999 he has been involved in contracting, on site mainly, working initially as a site operative, then setting out engineer, supervisor and sub agent on projects valued at between a few thousand pounds to £100M. He has been employed by a number of companies ranging in size from his families small contracting business early in his career to the likes of Wimpey Construction in the East Midlands as a section site engineer. Moving away from contracting in 1999 he gained employment as part of the Estate Management Team at Cornwall College and latterly for 5 years as a Building Control Officer at Carrick District Council. Phil is the holder of a Higher Polytechnic Diploma ( a qualification between HND and Degree level) in Construction Management. He is enrolled on the Mature entry route to full membership of the Association of Building Engineers Phil is now also an accredited SBEM Assessor with the BRE. Cert No: ERC3056 |
